Morphology
Morphology is a theory that studied about form in structure composition, element, component, the composition didn’t relate with the function.
Study of Morphology done in a simple form to identificated a basic character.

1. Row House (Rumah Baris)
2. Town House (Rumah Kota)

1.ROW HOUSE (RUMAH BARIS)



a.Square as a basic form
b.It’s had two kind, they’re Row Narrow & Row Medium.
c.Livingroom, diningroom, kitchen, bathroom, studyroom were located in the
basefloor.
d.Badroom and bathroom in the top floor.
e.The stairs and bathroom didn’t need shiny and a natural tempherature so had been
located in a central.
f.If both of side row narrow closed wall, so viewing, shining, natural temperature must be optimized in a second side of others.

HOUSE MORPHOLOGY
a.There wasn’t garage / carport, the vehicle was be located in apart location with
other vehicles.
b.Any Row House Morphology were combinated with another type.

2.TOWN HOUSE (RUMAH KOTA)



a.Use a square as a basic form
b.Consist of two kind : they’re Town Medium and Town Wide
c.Have equality with Row House, but Town House had carport



3.FLAT



a.Painting World as wide
b.Entrance were in the center in one of longest side
c.Hall devided to be general room ( living room and sitting room ) and special room ( bedroom ).
d.Arrangement room was easy and flexible
e.Gave amenity and freshment access

4.PATIO HOUSE



a.Basic form was letter “ L “ in a square area.
b.Livingroom as long as side was short, bedroom in other side and servis in cutting part.
c.Air gap in side of L font be a park.
d.In this area two difference function of room, could be added as long as the function didn’t pepping out a natural illumination and view.



a.Entrance arranged to served four unit in arrangement group.
b.A main way or the street was needed every four area of Patio Houses.
c.In a park area could be performed to building ( garage ) or another parking area that separated with another vehicles.

5.MAISONETTE



a.Standard building was founded in nation that had a high density.
b.Related with one or two other house in vertical
c.In the top unit had lost connection to the ground.
d.Less attented orientation, privation and freshment.

6.TERRACE HOUSE



a.Representing of joining Row House or Patio House
b.Be arranged in a high rise or down at a hill to optimized the view, serving a good orientation, etc.
c.Serving a park and terrace on the top of roof in its down. ( Provenance of Terrace House )
d.Terrace house gave a space and satisfaction that wanted, but gave to more attention in layout to guaranteed access and circulation.

TYPOLOGY
Typology in architecture was a science that studied a kind of object and approached some aspect that background it.
Studied about type, symbolic, the meaning of symbolic or deputizing of it.
